What does the length of your fingers have to do with how good you are in business and making money? Well, according to researchers from the University of Cambridge in England led by John M. Coates, if your ring finger is longer than your index finger, then you are good in businesses like financial trading. Makes sense?

The finger researchers reported said that the ring-to-index finger relationship to success was first identified in sports like basketball. Now, they're saying the same goes for business, financial trading in particular. They claim that this type of biological manifestation equates to years of experience at the job.

The scientists say the cases when the ring finger is longer than the index finger involved a greater exposure to androgen hormones in the womb and old scientific studies have shown that exposure to this "male" hormone increases confidence, risk preferences, search persistence, heightened vigilance, and fast reaction.

The same team did testosterone-level samplings from financial traders in London and they found out that those who had a high level of the hormone had a greater chance of success on the trading floor with an "unusually high profit."
